Home Alone
Apr. 20th, 2009 10:31 amI've been abandoned at home this week. My mum's gone off to York for 2 nights for her birthday, then practically as soon as she's back on Wednesday, she's off the following day to see AC/DC in Birmingham, so I've got the house to myself practically all week.
Unfortunatly, there probably won't be any Macauley Culkin-esque antics, or in fact anything interesting happenning, I'll probably just get bored. I'll probably sit and watch through my DVDs (it's not as if there's sod all worth watching on TV these days), but I think it's a shame I don't have anyone to do anything with or anywhere to go over the next few days. I guess I could take myself out, but it's not as if there's much you can do by yourself, and what there is isn't much fun on your own-. Though I guess even if I did, I'm too restricted by the fact I have to look after the dog, and couldn't leave him alone in the house for longer than a few hours.
Maybe there'll be a time when having a few days to myself becomes an opportunity to do something rather than just being more time to sit on my own doing nothing.
