(no subject)

So, last night, after months of thinking I'll get round to it, I finally signed up to the UKFur forums. Only to be told I have to wait for an administrator to approve my account before I can do anything (even so much as read the forums)- which I'm still waiting for nearly 24 hours later! It almost makes it feel as if there's some sort of massive secrecy around the whole place, like some sort of secret club or something! Never signed up to an internet forum before where you have to go through all this.
